I wrote a Bubblews post the other day on 5 Helpful Uses for Teaching Your Dog Place. I wanted to share it with you guys! Place can be an extremely handy thing for your dog to know and is so easy to teach. In the picture, you see our dogs; Crash (Weimaraner) and Blackjack (Black Dog) on place at the lake! A nice way to keep your dog out of trouble.

Puppies!

Today it's all about those cute little puppies! You can start a puppy's training as soon as they are off mom's milk. As long as your using treat training anyways. So here are some videos to get you started, all with Kyra Sundance.

Here is a video that comes straight from her DVD Best Puppy Tricks. Here she teaches you how to teach your puppy to Roll Over. This is a great example of things you can expect from her DVD Best Puppy Tricks

Here's another Video that demonstrates more of what you can find in her video, starring a 4 month old Weimaraner Puppy named Jayde.

Here's a video somebody made of their puppy doing tricks, using Kyra Sundance's book 51 Puppy Tricks: Step-by-Step Activities to Engage, Challenge, and Bond with Your Puppy.

This puppy is only 12 weeks old and already off to a great start! If you'd like to see more of Kyra Sundance and her dog Chalcy, take a look at yesterday's blog entry.

Though these videos show off Weimaraners, any breed of puppy can learn these tricks.
